Inglot AMC Cream Concealer Review & Swatch

Although I've heard of concealers my entire life cause of my mom's salon I never really thought about using one until 2010.  A S.A. lured me to her makeup demo and when she concealed the under eye area I almost fell off my chair.  My face did a 360 and I went from looking 32 to 22 in under 10 seconds.

Under Eye concealers brighten tired-looking eyes because they even out the skin tone in that area. The right coloured concealer can make you appear years younger. It can be a lifesaver when you've not had enough sleep and when your under eye area darkens before your period.

What Inglot says about its concealer :

"Rich in Vitamin A and E the Cream Concealer

uses pigments and light to provide
the ‘SOFT FOCUS’ effect."

Ingredient List:

I got the Inglot AMC concealer last year during a major re-vamp.  It is lightweight and super creamy in texture and comes in a chic little plastic tub.  It's easy to store, carry around and is a little bigger than a 2 Rs. coin in diameter.  The product does not run at all.  It's like firm mousse. Open it and turn it on it's head – not a drop falls out.  It spreads easily and gives excellent coverage that you can build on.

Price : Rs.  650 for 5.5 gms

I took about an hour to choose the perfect colour cause of the price tag.  But my happiness was short lived and after a short vacation back home in Goa and a nasty kaka tan I found that out of all the makeup I had the concealer just mis-matched totally.  I went nuts and went back to Inglot and MUFE and MAC as well.  I later came to know that my under eye area had tanned!    It's advisable to change concealer colour when your skin tans in the summer.

You don't need to put concealer all over the place, only where you have discoloration.

How to Use a Concealer ?

Concealers can be applied using a brush, your finger or a makeup sponge.   If you wear foundation, apply concealer first.  I use my fingers.  After moisturising my skin I rub my ring finger on the back of my thumb for a few seconds, for a bit of heat, and then dip it into this fab concealer only once to melt the product and then again rub the concealer onto the back of my thumb to dot underneath the eye.  Then I TAP and only TAP in the concealer lightly starting at the darkest part of the eye which is from the inner corner to the outer corner until the dots are well blended.  I also put some on the side of my nose near the tear duct , eyelid and right underneath brow so it's totally seamless thus brightening the entire area cause even our eyelids have discoloration.  Please don't tug your skin as you blend the concealer.  The skin under the eye is soooo thin and will get wrinkled.

Finish off with a light dusting of loose powder. This helps set the concealer and keeps it from becoming greasy and fading away.

Pros of Inglot AMC Cream Concealer :
·      Good product from a quality brand
·      Paraben Free
·      Not tested on animals
·      Affordable
·      Easily available online
·      Good coverage.
·      Little goes a long way.

Cons of Inglot AMC Cream Concealer:

·      Not every state in India has a store.
·      Access to online shopping is the only next option.
·      Extra expense with the palette

My rating - 4/5
Final Verdict - It does a good job, stays on for a long time. easy to wash off and is good value for money like all their products...

    1. Colorbar Perfect Match Primer Rs. 750, Inglot has a good primer that is amazing! It's silicone and gel based. The downside with Primers is that because of the silicone u can get pimples. It totally blocks ure pores. It is not essential but just an add on....christina
