Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid Liner Review

I have loved Maybelline always, because they are a drugstore brand which provides me with affordable, quality makeup that can be easily worn by most. I absolutely love it, and I believe that they are a brand which comes up with great new products that has many advantages. That is why, when I found that they had launched a new eye liner, I went to the store, bought it, and have been using it for the last month. I have to say, this is one of my favorite products from Maybelline so far.

My Take on the Product:
So when I first saw it, I hesitated slightly because it looked remarkably similar to the Lakme liner. However, as I am a big fan of liquid eyeliners, I decided to give it a whirl. The package is an absolutely black with a shiny surface, with the name Hyperglossy Liquid Liner written down in shiny Pink. When I bought it, there were no real tester at the store, so I decided to just wing it, and buy it anyway (what the heck, you only live twice!). I came back, happy as a lark, and tried it on. Now there were a few things I wanted to check out. 

I generally like a liquid liner that can be easily carried, have a simple, yet effective applicator, lasts me a good bit of time, and can be removed without much issues. One of the reasons why I did not like the Eyeconic kajal much was because it was quite hard to get rid of. 

The packaging I instantly liked, and the content is about 3 gm., which is good considering the price (225/- INR), which is not too much, or too less. I like the fact that I can carry it anywhere. Once opening, the applicator is absolutely fabulous, with a thin tip, which can draw a line as thinly or thickly as you want. I love the way I can draw up my eyes without a single issue, and it dries up within a few seconds. 

The color payoff and pigmentation is absolutely top class. It does not irritate my eyes and I have used it on my waterline a time or two, and it stays put. 
The color is absolutely shiny (yes, the name HYPERGLOSSY) is totally correct here. The lines I have drawn all had dried up by the time I took the photo, and all my eye swatch photos are about 7 hours after I applied it (I had gone out for a day with my best friend, and it was still intact after I came back… you guys can totally see my oily skin now!).

The finish is actually over 15-16 hours if you do not rub. I have to confess, I did not keep it on my skin for 24 hours, but I lined my eyes one day around 6 in the morning, and it was still there, slightly faded, though, at the end of it, around 10 p.m. It would, however, rub off if you rub your eyes, and so be careful. But that is quite understandable. It is easily removable with a remover, or even soap and water, and the glossy finish just nails it. 

Pros of Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid Liner:

• Lasts a good period of time
• Reasonably priced
• Easily lines my eyes
• Dries quite fast compared to other liners
• Does not irritate my waterline or eyes

Cons of Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid Liner: 
Well, I am yet to find one!

Final Verdict : Overall, I would buy this again. And I am shifting my allegiance from Lakme to Maybelline for my HG in eyeliners.
