My experience using the Chambor flowing lipstick:
This nicely named lipstick meets most of the features claimed by the brand. I am quite impressed with the way the shade looks on me and also the completely matte look it provides which stays on for quite long without smudging.
Shade: Heavenly Rose is a cool toned mauve-ish pink shade. I do think it would suit medium to fair skin tones quite well. It is pigmented enough to give an opaque coverage in a single application.
It sets quickly on the lips and then does not bleed. It is non transferable too so stays put for long.
Texture: The lipstick is light weight and does not settle in lines. No problems of smudging or feathering. It gives the perfect matte look and feel on the lips that I adore.
Packaging: The sleek metal encasing with the shade showing in the centre looks quite chic. It has a nice and soft brush tip applicator covered secured with a cap. There is a twisting base on the other end to regulate the amount of product to be used- that’s why the name Flowing.
But this means of controlling the flow of lipstick is not up to the mark as the first time I used it, I twisted the base quite a lot of times to let the product come out on to the brush. That resulted in discharging more lipstick than needed. So one need to twist the base slowly as to avoid product wastage and also to get a uniform application.
Staying Power: Being matte and smudge proof, this lipstick easily stays on for 5-6 hours on a stretch. It easily survives full meals too.
•Great staying power
•Completely matte finish
•Smudge proof and non transferrable.
•Sleek and chic packaging.
•Well, I have heard people complaining but it does not dry out my lips more. I find it creamy in that sense.
•For dry/chapped lips, better scrub and apply a lip balm prior to putting these on.
•Regulating the flow of the lipstick is difficult using the twist-up mechanism.
My Rating: 4/5
Final Thoughts: I do recommend these lipsticks to everyone. There are some beautiful shades to check out in this range. If you are a matte lipstick lover coupled with the non transferable and long staying power that this lipstick provides, you should definitely try these out.
