Well, to be honest this was an accidental buy for me ! I read this really good review on a John Frieda hair serum and wanted to try it ! So,last year I placed my order for the product with Urbantouch  (without even going through the product details , I know ! it's DUMB!! ) I noticed that it was a hair styling spray (n not the serum) when I got my order :(

Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Gentle Anti ageing Cream Review

In my personal opinion I feel the basic and most essential criteria to judge a good anti ageing cream should be pertaining to its hydrating and moisturizing property. As we age we loose essential oils and our skin becomes dry .the dryness leads to most of the skin problems like fine lines, wrinkles ,pigmentation, dry patches etc !
Am 25 now and I absolutely believe this is the high time to start taking a bit extra care of my skin, which is combination to dry. I think we should invest in a proper night cream now according to our skin type. After all "prevention is better than cure "

Fenugreek (Methi) in Hair Care

We often look for solutions for our common beauty problems in ready cosmetics but we often forget that the best treatments lie with us in our own home.
With very common kitchen ingredients we can make some amazing beauty solutions.

I'll be revealing an amazing treatment for dandruff and damaged hair. This remedy also helps in hairfall.

So, what is that wonder product? 

It's Fenugreek (Methi)

Fenugreek(methi) seeds are extremely effective and powerful seeds which fights with hair fall, baldness and hair thinning. Fenugreek seeds replenish hair growth and are a good source of nicotinic acid and protein.Fenugreek contains a large amount of lecithin which is a natural emollient and give power to hair and make them healthy and strong. It also moisturizes hair.

Below here are few ways to include fenugreek in hair care which promotes hair growth ,make them lustrous ,healthy and shiny and dandruff free !

Soak 1 tsp methi (fenugreek) seeds in water in a small bowl. Leave it overnight.

Methi absorbs a lot of water and swells in size.
In the morning grind the seeds in a mixer. Add little water and make a fine paste. The same water in which the seeds had been soaked can be used.
The paste becomes like jelly. It's pretty sticky. 
Add equal amount of curd and mix well.
(The curd should not be sweet)

Apply the paste starting from the roots and massage the scalp very well. Apply generously in the whole hair. 
Leave this mask for about an hour.
Wash with warm water and shampoo with any mild shampoo.

You can see the difference in just one application.

I've got great relief from my dandruff and itchy scalp.
Also hair looks bouncy, soft and shiny without application of a conditioner or serum.

This paste is suitable for all hair types.

Ground methi paste can be stored in fridge for a couple of days. Add curd before application.

You can make a herbal and organic hair growth tonic with fenugreek seeds. Boil fenugreek seeds and allow them to soak in pure coconut oil overnight. Filter the oil with the help of a sieve and massage this oil mixture to your scalp for 10-15 minutes. Applying this oil thrice in a week will  make your hair shiny and thick and will help in reducing hair fall too
