Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk Review

Hello lovely ladies,
I will be reviewing Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk today. This is my second cleanser after Aroma Magic Mint Cleanser. The AM cleanser was good but I found the quantity insufficient and after hearing all good things about Himalaya cleansing milk, I decided to go for it.

Product Description:-
Deep cleanses, clarifies and refreshes
A special blend of herbs that gently removes dirt, makeup and daily impurities while maintaining your skin’s natural moisture balance.  Lemon, a natural cleanser and astringent, clarifies and refreshes. Grape seed rejuvenates and Mentha sp cools your skin to keep it clear, healthy and radiant.

Directions for use:- Add a few drops to a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck. For best results, follow with Refreshing and Clarifying Toner.
Each ml contains:- Exts Jambira( Citrus limon) 0.5 mg, Draksha( Vitis vinifera) 0.4mg, Peppermint Satva ( Mentha spp) 0.1 mg

Price:-80INR for 100ml bottle

My experience:-

I have always been into face washes and never thought of using cleansers till I started using make-up. The Aroma Magic cleanser I used was creamy and had cooling effect and I amount was not sufficient for me. But Himalaya Refreshing Cleansing Milk was the perfect cleansing milk every way. It has the texture of a moisturizing lotion; kind of dilute. I don’t need to apply it on wet face. I tried putting it up on wet face initially, but it got very dilute and the effect was not very satisfactory.  Next time I put it on directly and massaged it for some time and then wiped it off. It gave super clean skin. I wiped my skin with the Himalaya Clarifying Toner. It removed any traces of the cleanser and I was done. :)
Best part of it was that it didn’t break me out at all. It removed eye make-up effectively. It didn’t even sting my eyes.  It has become my HG cleanser. It has a mild, pleasant fragrance. It has menthol and has subtle cooling effect which I like. This is the reason why I purchased it for the winters. I mean who would want cool effect when the weather is already cold!

It comes in a bottle with flip-flop cap. I don’t find it travel friendly because I find the cap weak. I always fear spilling and this is the reason why I don’t carry it anywhere.  But anyway I like the sleek bottle.

Pros:-
•Efficiently removes dirt
•Excellent make-up remover
•Does not sting eyes
•Didn’t break me out
•Can be used on its own i.e. there is no need to wet the face before using it
•Lasts for a long time
•Easy availability
•Very affordable

Cons:-
•I wish the cap was well-fitted.
•You may feel like rinsing your face after using it.

My rating:-  4/5

Final Verdict:-It is a good product from Himalaya herbals. I am in love with the product and I will keep repurchasing it. I don’t think there is anything as good and cheap as this product.
