Maybelline Colossal Volume Waterproof Mascara (Black) Review

Have anyone of you ever noticed that some guys have really thick eye lashes ! Which sometimes put me a awkward position of staring at the guy (giving him ample wrong reasons to ponder while I actually try to figure out if it's real or it's mascara !)


Sigh ! Why God why ? A Man doesn't need it anyway ! 


So, we poor girls are left to try out each and every mascara ( and false lashes) which promises such mesmerising lashes ! A year n half back Maybelline came up with such a magnanimous 'Colossal' promise with the launch of the Colossal Volume Mascara - 7X ! it said..

The Colossal Cousins (the Mascara and the Colossal kajal) from Maybelline are the best thing that happened to the Indian Beauty Scenario and our eyes.I may be the last one to review them, but I can't simply leave them out !

How to Use- Sweep brush upwards from root to tip to plump individual lashes and achieve dramatic volume. Continue building lashes until you reach your desired look. Do not let dry between coats. Repeat for lower lash line.

What I Like about Maybelline Colossal Volume Waterproof Mascara-

• Adds volume and length to my lashes (though it does not claim the lenthening )One- Two coats and am good to flutter  !
• Totally waterproof . I have cried a lot with this one, it did not smudge, budge or give me racoon eyes :D
• I have been using this for last 6 months ( That reminds, I need to get a new one ! ) it did not sting or cause any irritation to my eyes (please note, am not a contact lens user)
• Clumps are negligible
• The brush is really good, bristles are placed in a compact way and ensures all lashes are covered individually
• The consistency is neither too thick nor runny. Just perfect to work with
• I love the big fat yellow tube. It's easy to locate in your stash when you are in a hurry !
• Affordable and easily available

What I didn't Like about Maybelline Colossal Volume waterproof Mascara-

• You need give special attention while removing them ! They need lot patience!
• The fat brush would have been better if it was slightly curved.It would have helped in covering lashes in the inner corners of eyes
• It tends to get thick and clump when used more than two coats and when you are using the mascara for long!

Final Verdict- Will recommend this to every one. from makeup newbies to professionals ! Affordable and works really well. That 7X promise may be a bit larger than life  but it does give you a nice volume and length. Grab it !
