Lakme 9 to 5 Intense Shine eyeliner- Black Review

Lakme eyeliners are mostly a girls first eyeliner in India ! After going through Lakme insta liners and their high definition liner (i totally loved it), I gave the 9 to 5 liner a try on a friend's recommendation ..n oh boy! It has become one of my favourite liquid liners now.

What the product claims-
Rich, intense color in one stroke that stays true for hours. Create smouldering eyes with bold shades that redefine the look of liquid eyeliner.

How to use-
Line your eyes in one single stroke on the upper lid from the inner side of the eye to the outer side. Let it dry.
Line your lower lid from the outer edge, tapering to the inner corner of the eye.

Price- 249 INR for 4.5ml

Shades Available-
Smoky Grey, Brown, Olive, Black

What I Liked about Lakme 9 to 5 Intense shine eyeliner- black-

  • Matte black liner
  • Dries quickly
  • Stays on for long
  • Does not smudge
  • Water resistant to some extent
  • did not cause any irritation to my eye lids
  • the bristle brush is good and is easy to glide, with some practice you get to draw both thick and thin lines
  • the packaging is sleek and travel friendly

What I didn't like about Lakme 9 to 5 intense shine eyeliner-black-
  • no mention of ingredient list
  • if you are newbie to brush liners , you need some practice to achieve thin as well as thick lines(personally am okay with the brush)
Swatch-

My Rating- 4.5/5

Final Verdict- Absolutely love this liquid liner and would recommend to each and every one of you !

So, which one is your favorite liquid liner???

  7. It looks like it works well Sukanya, but I wish they mentioned if people with contact lens can wear it, because I've found very few liquid eyeliners that go with contact lens :/ but I guess this is great for days that ur going casual in prescription glasses!

  10. Since i am so new to makeup, and still not perfected art of applying eyeliners, i consider quick drying as a con :P :P ... i am sticking to cream pencils for now ... liquid eyeliners are such a horror when go wrong :(
