John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray Review

Well, to be honest this was an accidental buy for me ! I read this really good review on a John Frieda hair serum and wanted to try it ! So,last year I placed my order for the product with Urbantouch  (without even going through the product details , I know ! it's DUMB!! ) I noticed that it was a hair styling spray (n not the serum) when I got my order :( 
(headbang)To avoid the whole mess of sending it back or reordering, I decided to keep it !


I don't use it much , and actually have considered many times to sell it or include it in a Giveaway but am not sure if you would like to get/ buy a used product. Please share your opinion in the comments section (I won't lie, I have used it 3-4 times to find out if it works or how it works) 

I was totally unsure about how to use this and lods of other questions clinged to my head about it. I searched for reviews and they were all going Yay-nay-yay-nay .. I was like for the love of God,please let this work for me... :fngrs crossed:

• Directions

Shake before using. (For best results, start with Frizz-Ease Hair Serum). Spray product liberally on damp hair from roots to ends, distributing evenly. "Scrunch" small sections of hair gently in fist to help create waves. Allow hair to air dry naturally or blow-dry using a diffuser with dryer set on "low". For touch-ups or next day wake-up call: Spray and "scrunch" on dry hair to reinvigorate curls.

My hair type- My hair is naturally wavy and  is not very fine.Frizziness is now under control with use of proper conditioner and hair mask


What I liked about John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray-

• The amount you get for the price is huge ! it will last you long (yep this was my first reaction when i saw the bottle, i was like how on earth am going to finish it !! :O )
• Smell is mild and good
• Frizz ease- to some extent true . It tamed the flyaways and makes my hair manageble
• It did helped in maintain(rather accentuate) my curls. I just sprayed it onto my hair ends , scrunched with hand and after sometime I did notice beautiful well defined curls
• I have used it on wet hair (after shower) and on dry hair..both worked but results are better with damp hair
• There's no stiffness or sticky feeling in hair! (If you spray the product on your hand there's initally a sticky feel which goes away within a minute , but if you spray onto hair, absolutely no stickiness or greasy feeling,neither the stiffened hair which some salon spray does)
• Easy to wash off.(i use the product for special occasions and i wash of my hair the next day)
• The spray nozzle ensures you don't use up a lot

What I didn't Like about John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray-

• That huge bottle, definitely not travel friendly , you can't carry it in you purse for mid day spritz
• I didn't notice any softening of my hair
• Did not impart any shine
• If you spray more than you need it may weigh down your hair
• I don't think this is suitable for those who are bugged with frizzy hair woes. I don't feel it would be a good product with those with fine or straight hair either
• Lods n lods of chemicals

My Rating- 3/5

Final Verdict- I feel this is best suitable for thick and curly/wavy hair types. Just spritz on some before going out to give a bit definition to your curls. All you need is to spray and scrunch. BUT, if you have fine straight hair, it won't be much of use.
