Auravedic's Pulpy face wash is THE cleanser which is getting the best newbie awards from all bloggers. So, I was super delighted to try it out as soon as I got it. :)

- Very mild and gentle cleanser
- Does not make your skin dry or stretchy after wash
- The consistency is very thick hence you need a very tiny amount of the product, rub it with some water onto your palms and then apply on face
- Skin feels soft , supple and fresh after each wash
- Free of SLS, parabens and harmful chemicals
- Has goodness of red sandal, cinnamon oil,licorice extract, orange peel extract,turmeric extract etc..all are known for improving skin tone by reducing pigmentation

What I didn't Like about Auravedic Pulpy face wash Sandal Cinnamon-
- Because of so many active ingredients the fragrance is very very strong ! it almost made me sneeze and my eyes to well up in the first use,,gradually i became used to it though
- If accidentally it goes into eyes or nose, it burns like hell (This may not be a major con for some, but I have this tendency to rub the face washes all over my face ,eyelids and above lip area and invariably some gets into nose ) You should always do a patch test before starting to use herbal products .
- Its not good with makeup removing.Being a very mild cleanser may not be a right one for super oily skin beauties
- I hate the tub packaging. Its become very difficult to work with it when you are in shower
My rating- 3.5/5
Final Verdict- If you have dry skin and looking for a mild herbal cleanser which does not make your skin dry and stretchy , this is a good one. But if you have sensitive skin and nose, and want your cleanser to be a effective makeup and oil remover too, you can give it a pass !

red sandal is good for acne too na ... i wonder if this is work to prevent acne ...

ReplyDeleteJyo I have combi-dry skin,so its okay for me, but if you tend to be more on the oily side, better to have in winters IMO

ReplyDeleteYes the first day i was unsure of how much amount to use and took up a lot n used it as with my other face washes..n went rubbing near my eyes..next moment I knew my whole face n eyes were red n burning ! It's way too concentrated !!!!

DeleteI mean yea burning sensation..but that was my mistake i took up a large lump of the product with very little water..may b dats why..but still even if it gets into my eyes or nasal mucosa t stings like hell.

ReplyDeleteThat was the first time I used..and it was my mistake to use a lot of the product..if you use the right amount you should not have any problem,just keep away from eyes
