Sleek Au- Natural Eye shadow Palette- Review , Swatches

I have lusted this palette in my dreams..seriously...since I had seen this one in the sleek website n read some reviews on it.. This was somewhat my dream palette !! So, when Mehak of Peaches and Blush hosted the giveaway and the prize was a  sleek palette/MAC lipstick .. I had to participate ..n yeah , I WON. This was my first giveaway win .. I was super exited n couldn't believe my eyes..i checked n rechecked the entries page and found out I was the only Sukanya to enter :D

So ladies *drumrolls please* ...

This is a picture heavy post, so will keep the review short .

What Sleek Makeup has to say- Sleek MakeUP’s Nude collection wraps up your autumn beauty look in one warm, earthy and wearable collection. The Au Naturel i-Divine provides an array of matte and pearlescent eye shadows providing a subtle yet contoured effect for day, that can be built up for a smoky glamorous effect using velvety browns and shimmering fawns.

Complete the look with Suede blush and Pout Polish in Bare minimum, for the natural look at its best!

We've recently given our i-Divines a makeover! The outer packaging has been updated and the way the eye shadows are pressed are different. They are now pressed flat instead of the original waffle print.

Price- 10$/ 500 INR approx (without shipping) and can be bought only through Sleek Makeup Website

A closure look on the shades-

Upper row L- R

  • Nougat- matte white, mediumly pigmented. nice highlighting for brow bones and inner corner, but too much may look ashy
  • Nubuck- a grey with lavender/mauve undertones.not much pigmented.
  • Cappuccino- Most difficult to swatch , A light beige shade ,totally equal my skin tone.Good for a wash of color over the lids,I guess

Lower row L-R
  • Conker- A metallic bronze-copper shade.great pigmentation.
  • Moss- creamy dusty khaki or moss green shade. This is my most favorite shade in the palette.
  • Bark-Matte dark taupe brown
on the other half,

Upper Row L-R-
  • Honeycomb- almost similar to capuccino, excaot that it has a bit yellowish undertones.Lacks pigmentation and good for highlighting and all over lid color
  • Toast- Matte peach, with a hint of orange undertones
  • Taupe-The only shimmer shade, a nice champagne shade.good pigmentation

Lower Row L-R
  • Mineral Earth- Metallic chocolate brown.awesome pigmentation
  • Regal- Taupe/light brown with bit of mauve undertones
  • Noir-A matte black,that every girl needs

My Take on the palette-

  • It is the blend of muted and rich warm colors of autumn , there is a mix n match of various shade of brown, puprle  burgandy and black.
  • Most of them are matte.Few metallic and no shimmers.
  • The upper row are mostly higlighters or all over lid colors. They are disapointment in terms of pigmentation. Cappuccino and Honey comb are so very close to my skin tone, that they would make up for concealer .This was not expected from Sleek.Nougat too is disapointingly unpigmented.Only taupe showed up properly and Nougat with several swatches managed a faint hint.
  • The lower row is much better in terms of color and pigmentation.Though at a glance, conker mineral earth may look very close..but you can easily make out the difference, they are gorgeous warm metallic shades.Noir is a matte black you will need all the time.Moss is my favourite on being a khaki green.
  • The colors blend nicely, with minimal fallouts
  • Perfect to create a subtle day time smokey look or a bit classic look
  • You get 12 colors in one palette.Affordable definitely.
  • Oh! n there's a brush,as usual not of much use...but there's a nice big mirror ,which I love :D

My Rating- 3.5/5

Final Verdict- If you love warm earthy shades, love smokey look, and can ignore the not so good upper row,go for this.

Will do some EOTD's with this one soon :)

BTW, Am close to 200 gfc followers now..so you can expect a nice GIVEAWAY comming up pretty soon !!! (am working my butt off on it..trust me !)
