Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face pack Review

I had previously tried this face pack when it was just launched.It stinged and burned my skin then and hence I never dared to try it back again.Few days back I had ordered it for my friend on whom this worked very well.But as the mfg was a bit older I thought of keeping it with me. I was a bit sick for last few days and there were some small n big pimples coming up here n there (I have otherwise normal-dry skin fyi) I gave this a shot again..

 A purifying pack that helps to regulate excess oil secretion,cleans clogged pores and prevents recurrence of pimples.Neem,well known for its purifying and anti bacterial properties helps in controlling acne and pimples and their recurrence.Combined with turmeric it helps remove acne causing bacteria.Fuller's earth (multani mitti)cools and soothes the skin,improving skin texture and leaving you with clear,problem free skin

Ingredients- Fuller's earth,neem ,turmeric
inactive ingredients-sodium methyl paraben ip,sodium propylparaben ip,imidazolidinyl urea,DMDMhydantoin


Directions- apply evenly over cleansed face and neck avoiding area near eyes.allow to dry for 10-15minutes.remove with a wet sponge and wash with cold water.use once or twice a week.donot apply on on broken skin or inflamed skin.may cause a tingling sensation due to herbal active ingredients,which is normal.


My take-


The Goods-

• It didn't burn my skin =) I saw they have changed the picture of the packaging slightly(different from the earlier one i tried ) 
• it took care of my pimples.I used the pack initially for three days and my skin behaved well,it was clear and the pimples resolved. =)
• It has a bit grittiness which doubles up as a good scrub ,nothing harsh though
• it comes in a travel friendly tube with a flip flop cap
• it dries fast within 5 -10 minutes.
• there is a cool clean feel after using this.that will be great for summers.
• slightly drying on my dry skin but a nice moisturiser can take care of it
• nice herbal fragnance
• affordable and available across India

The Bads-

• not all herbal .contains parabens as preservatives.( They are actually not as harmfull as the myth is i read )
• dry skinned beauties can have a problem with the drying effect.
• its not moisturizing
• I don't feel like glowing after using this pack ( I know what i mean by the glow effect,The Aroma Magic chocolate face pack gives me that along with a nice moisturization

Those who have oily skin and suffer from acne will love this one.Dry skin beauties like me can give this a try when your skin does not behave well . I am loving this product and will continue to use it when I need.
