This is a product which I neither can't heart it nor can't I boo it! I got mixed feelings bout it..my head sings "I hate you,like I love youu.. " everytime  I see it ! :O


The shade i got is Nude- light 4

Price- I don't remember exactly, but was approximately 500 INR for 18g


Packaging-- it comes in a small tub packaging. a heavy glass tub actually with a brown cap.

I have been wearing this colour all the time since the day I got it (that was just the day before) :P

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-dandruff shampoo Review

Winters equals to itchy,scratchy and flaky scalp for me..to be precise there is an exacerbation of dandruff each year during this time. I have been using Head n Shoulders for ages to combat this nuisance but within 2 days of shampooing it was back!

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter REVIEW

I had never used hair masks/butters untill this. I was happy with my champi (oiling hair liberally) one hour before shampooing and once in a blue moon deep conditioning with henna. But recent whimsical ways of my hair made me to get a hair mask. I was sceptical about other brands like dove/l'oreal... L'occitaine was way above my budget..so I settled to The Body Shop.

here's a review of L'oreal paris UV perfect Longlasting UVA/UVB Protector SPF 50.

 I am allergic to sun exposure..i am 'photosensitive'. my face becomes red and a burning sensation on prolonged exposure. not only that mine eyes behave in same way !! giving me a bad headache :-X. So,besides using an umbrella my dermat had advised me too apply liberous amount of sunscreens/sunblocks before going out in the sun and reapply every 4 hours to deal with the problem.i have been in hunt of a good sunscreen since then. i have used many medicated,cosmetic brands ..but all made me sweat like hell!!. I almost started living with the redness,etc thinking i may be sensitive/allergic to whatever goes into a sunscreen.


Last month my mom got this one for me and now am using this one for last 2 weeks. So lets see how it fared on my dry , sensitive skin ...

Am not much of a perfume person,mainly because of the fact i haven't found that "signature scent" for moi and also the fact that i sweat a lot and smell stinky :'( . till now the perfumes i had used weren't much of help ( i could not afford high end brands for the matter of fact).


I solely depend upon deo's for my daily use. I have tried various products and this is the one am currently using for more than a month.

So read on to find if this is a worth trying one.....

My winter resolutions.. health,skin care,make up

I really hate hate hate to make any kind of resolutions,say it a New Year resolution or a Birthday resolution. I had tried a few times as a kiddo and failed miserably in sticking to them :-X.


But following beauty blogs for sometime now and getting in touch with all gorgeous ladies, i really feel now taking a bit care of myself and "how i look" ! What i really mean is to keep myself well groomed and presentable.


Just a little bit of intro on my skin and hair type-->

• dry skin, but sweaty "T" zone in humid climatic areas !
• hair-predominantly dry and freezy,sweaty scalp..sometimes behave in contradicting weird ways !     

So,here i go....

Colorbar Velvette Matte Lipstick- DEMURE review and swatches

Here's an honest confession- i have very thin and small lips,and i become overtly conscious with any lip colour, which unfortunately, makes me a "no-lippy" person.Till date i possess only very few lipsticks and most are bad buys My make up contains mostly some kohl and lip-balms.If i ever have to get some colour on my lips i stick to peaches and nudes.But as i ventured into the world of beauty blogs,i found out may be there are some shades which wont scream attention on my lips and at the same time can actually make them look good. =)

Shimmers are a strict no-no for me,and i use glosses very occasionally.So,what i searched in "me-compatible " lipstick was creamy and matte finish. I have one lip pencil from Inglot (its a peachy shade and i adore it.that's actually the only one lippy in my stack that i could pull off).So.my next hunt was a pink!

I guess a perfect pink and red are a must have for any make up lover's kit but again they are very very hard to find.After reading rave reviews on the  Colorbar velvette matte range,i decided to give it a try. I did some homework on the shades beforehand though.

So,the one i got the other day is the shade -DEMURE

Every body has a comfort food.
The type of food which brings along a nostalgic feeling, a sentiment of being content and happy.So,here goes my comfort food ( i think any bong would swear by this, rice, with massor/kalai dal and a bowl full of alu posto). This was honestly my first attempt in making the dish and trust me it was eatable :-P. and i also heart the after effect ..a prolongated aftenoon siesta ... thats bliss ( we bong have a term for that "bhat-ghoom" ;-) )

Alu Posto-- its potato cooked in mashed poppy seeds (paste).

Its a quite simple and easy to cook dish and the result is bound to be yummm !! <3

Well, today is World AIDS day!
but am here to throw light upon a concern which is not only very sensitive but also of much concern to all women in the world- BREAST LUMP


throughout my student life as a medical student and trainings i have seen patients comming to the emergency departments at a very late stage of breast carcinoma!. and at a condition we can't do anything literally.this problem is more prevelant in the lower socio economic group.those cases have really  bothered me and i really feel that we need more than awarness programme. i try my bit of counselling patients and their relatives and family members about the disease and its process. through this article i just want to share the same with you! i know there are number of blogs and websites referring to the same but this is a cause i really feel for!
